Kristina is Director, Legislative Affairs for the National Association of Clean Water Agencies, a trade association representing publicly-owned wastewater and stormwater treatment agencies. The focus of her work is to support federal policies that advance clean water, are rooted in sound science and leverage public dollars for the greatest environmental and public health outcomes. Prior to NACWA, Kristina worked for Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) where she focused on issues including working to protect and improve the Great Lakes, which as a native Milwaukeean she holds near and dear. She has also worked in other levels of government and the private sector at the nexus of sustainability and economic development.
Kristina studied International Relations and Environmental Policy at Boston University, and did her graduate work in Freshwater Sciences and Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
