Managing Up: Resolving Common Types of Workplace Dysfunction Workshop

Have you struggled with feeling overwhelmed or disillusioned in a job that would otherwise excite your professional passions?

Join WAN on July 23rd for a workshop on Managing Up: Resolving Common Types of Workplace Dysfunction!

We will explore four common types of workplace dysfunction that lead to professionals feeling burnt out, stressed out, ineffective, and disenchanted with a job they would otherwise be passionate about. These include a culture of constant multi-tasking and overwhelming workload; toxic organizational cultures; toxic bosses; and being set up for burnout. These common feelings can strain personal wellbeing and hinder professional development.

The workshop will be led by Chrissy Macken, Founder and Owner of Blueprintgreen Career Coaching & Consulting. Chrissy focuses on helping her clients break free from toxic work environments, find meaningful work they love, advocate for themselves and build better organizational cultures.

In the workshop, each area will be defined and we will review in-the-moment tactics to deal with issues as they arise. We will then break into groups to practice scenario exercises and proposed responses. Finally, we will explore long-term strategies to change the way professionals relate to each type of dysfunction. Handouts will provide tools to help you continue responding these issues in your workplace and life.
