Through this conversation about amplifying ocean impacts, examples of storytelling, community building, science translating, and policy advocacy will be shared. Lessons learned from this community will be imparted on attendees to help empower a new wave of action and change for our ocean.

This year’s theme is Creating Vibrant Communities, with programming spanning ocean and environmental issues including water quality and plastic pollution, stewardship and citizen science, governance, ecological restoration, resilience and adaptation, storytelling as a catalyst for change, environmental justice, and traditional ways of experiencing and managing terrestrial and marine ecosystems.
