Sustainable Ocean Alliance DMV Hub is hosting Part 2 of its Confidence with Congress series where we will "Workshop Your Ask" that you plan to bring to Capitol Hill Ocean Week (CHOW).
If you are new to the Hill or need a refresher on congressional visits, this training is for you! We will:
Share an overview of current bills and issues relevant to ocean advocacy
Break out into thematic groups to workshop your ask for CHOW with subject matter experts and prepare you for effectively engaging your Members of Congress
Help you build a team ready to rock your Hill Day
Expert facilitators will be updated here on a rolling basis, and we look forward to hearing the ocean issues you think should be at the forefront of this year's CHOW Hill Day on June 4.
